We are committed to making a tangible difference - changing the way individuals and communities understand the extremist ideologies and counter them. However, it is could be hard to demonstrate the success of preventive work. Having said that at AMAN we define success as the extent the project has been successful in limiting radicalisation and extremism by providing resilience training to individuals and communities at risk; by countering radical messages and narratives through special lessons, seminars and workshops; and by raising awareness levels of the general public about terrorist agenda and means to counter it.

All activities carried under the project would be evaluated for their impact(s) on regular basis. The impact of project interventions shall be measured at individual, household and community levels using validated tools. Results of impact surveys/studies shall be published, made available online and shared with relevant stakeholders and partner agencies.

Impact of AMAN is expected to go beyond preventing extremism and radicalisation through other medium and long-term impacts. The awareness creation is likely to improve communal relationships while the trainings offered to the youth would contribute to reduction in poverty, unemployment, low esteem and social exclusion.

Besides that the added value of AMAN project is to bring together government agencies and civil society, local authorities and community organizations for developing collaborative solutions which would be useful at a larger regional and national scale through expansion and replication.
